We had great day celebrating our local heritage with Newtowngore N.S. as part of our Peace Plus shared learning days. We took a trip to Glenview Museum and learned a lot from Brian Kennedy there. Fionnuala Maxwell from Heritage Ireland held a workshop for us in school based on traditional singing, folklore, culture and heritage in the Drumeela and Newtowngore area.
