We had a great day on the 11th of June in Newtowngore Hall with Newtowngore N.S. and Scoil Chlann Naofa celebrating all of our unique heritage and culture. We all made information posters of the 32 counties of Ireland and the countries we all hail from. We played board games, read books, completed research, created art work, built lego, played music, sang songs, danced and ate food from all our counties and countries. We finished up the day with a treasure hunt, where we had to find a key fact from each of our posters. We look forward to more shared, creative learning with both schools next year.
